This original painting was started by Heintz in the late 1960's, then purchased by myself at a garage sale in the late 1990's and now finished in 2014... I bought the painted 16" x 20" PLYEX Canvas Foundation Board painted artwork from the model in the portrait and paid $5 for 2 different portraits. She had been asking .50 cents each but I felt they were worth more. I kept the paintings in original condition for 20 years.
While creating a collection of artwork for So Sadly Fucked in 2013, I used a Heintz painting and stencils to create the cover for the single release of "Sweet Dreams and Don't Die". The song is also known as "The So Sadly Fucked Lullaby" and is one of my favorites form the new album coming soon... The woman in the image is now wearing an SSf shirt... And she has X'd out eyes (common symbolization of the deceased). Her head is in the clouds... She is sad and beautiful.
